Continue to grow the union through internal and external organizing.

Inspire and support staff so they can support members.

Communicate and be transparent with staff so they can do their jobs and simultaneously support staff and hold them accountable. 

Get the best for members’ dues.

Balance the many different needs of the council with the limited budget to make sure we get the best for members’ dues dollars.

Advance policies for the betterment of our members and their families.

Pass policies to protect workers, make sure that public employers have the resources they need to fund the services, and focus on the issues that members tell us are a priority.
